Upon receipt from your request, we will make an appointment to come and visit you.

1st visit:

  • All relevant questions regarding your specific ideas and requirements will be discussed.  Measurements are taken.
  • I will assist with practical suggestions where required.
  • Melamine and PVC wrap door samples will be presented to select colour, grain, pattern etc.
  • Formica Post Form Top samples will be presented for colour selection, if post form tops are required.
  • Granite and solid wooden door samples are not always available for colour / pattern selection at 1st visit.
  • Catalogues will be presented for selection of handles and other accessories you might require.

Design, 3D drawing & quotation:

  • A professional top view plan design and 3D drawings will be prepared for the next visit.
  • A detailed ‘transparent’ quotation reflecting each and every item will be formulated.  (NO HIDDEN COSTS)

2nd visit:

Presentation of 3D drawings, plans and quotation.  Any amendments / changes to be discussed and the quote will be recalculated where applicable.

Pay deposit:

  • Once completely satisfied, a deposit normally in the form of an E.F.T. can be made.  The cutting list will then be prepared.
  • Once the deposit reflects in the Business account, the cutting list order will be placed and paid for.
  • All relevant hinges, drawer runners, handles etc. will then be purchased.

Delivery of wood:

  • After about 3 working days, the cut & edged wood will be delivered to the workshop.  Allow 7-10 working days lead time for solid wood, PVC wrapped or sprayed panels/doors etc.
  • All cupboards except tall kitchen and bedroom cupboards are built in the workshop.  Allow 3 to 4 days depending on amount to be built.  Tall cupboards are built on site.

Delivery of cupboards / installation:

  • All the built cupboards, tall cupboard panels, hinges, handles etc. are then transported by truck to your premises.
  • Depending on size of installation, allow 2-6 days for completion.

Final payment:

Once completely satisfied, the final amount needs to be paid.

Points to consider:

  • Do not fit tiles until completion of cupboard installation (for kitchens) as it will (1) save on tiles, (2) cover any gaps on uneven walls and floors when tiled afterwards.
  • Removal of old cupboards, change of plumbing and electric plugs and switches, plus removal of old tiles prior to installation of cupboards will cut back on installation time.  Existing cupboards can be removed by Advanced Built-in Cupboards at an additional fee.
